Packing Lists

Preparation is key to a perfect ride. Use our curated lists to ensure you have everything you need.

On the Bike

  • Your bike — or a rental, arranged before you travel
  • Helmet (required — no helmet, no ride)
  • Two sets of jerseys and bib/shorts — one on, one drying
  • Cycling socks
  • Cycling shoes
  • Gloves
  • Riding glasses or sunglasses
  • Flat repair kit — levers, inner tubes, plugs, a multi-tool, and a portable pump
  • Bottles
  • Front and rear lights
  • Bike computer
  • Heart rate monitor
  • Phone
  • Road ID band — or any ID you ride with
  • Power pedals — if you use them, don't forget them when you're renting a bike

Weather and Temperature

  • Rain jacket
  • Arm and leg warmers
  • Full-fingered gloves
  • Mountain descents run cold even on a warm day, and a morning rollout is rarely the temperature the forecast promised

Off the Bike

  • A couple of changes of comfortable clothes
  • Shoes
  • Flip-flops
  • Sunscreen
  • Chamois cream
  • Toiletries
  • Chargers
  • Travel laundry sheets or pods — the reason two sets of kit is enough

Worth Repeating

  • The support vehicle is never far away, and our mechanic handles the daily checks
  • You don't need to pack for every contingency — pack the things that are yours: your fit, your kit, your pedals, your comfort on day four
  • ID, insurance card, and the confirmation email from your booking page
  • Room in your bag for the jersey you'll want to take home
