Packing Lists
Preparation is key to a perfect ride. Use our curated lists to ensure you have everything you need.
On the Bike
- Your bike - or a rental, arranged before you travel
- Helmet (required - no helmet, no ride)
- Two sets of jerseys and bib/shorts - one on, one drying
- Cycling socks
- Cycling shoes
- Gloves
- Riding glasses or sunglasses
- Flat repair kit - levers, inner tubes, plugs, a multi-tool, and a portable pump
- Bottles
- Front and rear lights
- Bike computer
- Heart rate monitor
- Phone
- Road ID band - or any ID you ride with
- Power pedals - if you use them, don't forget them when you're renting a bike
Weather and Temperature
- Rain jacket
- Arm and leg warmers
- Full-fingered gloves
- Mountain descents run cold even on a warm day, and a morning rollout is rarely the temperature the forecast promised
Off the Bike
- A couple of changes of comfortable clothes
- Shoes
- Flip-flops
- Sunscreen
- Chamois cream
- Toiletries
- Chargers
- Travel laundry sheets or pods - the reason two sets of kit is enough
Worth Repeating
- The support vehicle is never far away, and our mechanic handles the daily checks
- You don't need to pack for every contingency - pack the things that are yours: your fit, your kit, your pedals, your comfort on day four
- ID, insurance card, and the confirmation email from your booking page
- Room in your bag for the jersey you'll want to take home
