Your club's own trip. I build it. You fill it.
I'll plan a private cycling trip for your whole club, anywhere you want to ride, and handle every piece of it.
At cost. No profit built in.
The first three groups that sign on pay what the trip costs. Not one dollar over the costs. After three, this is gone.

Every club talks about a trip. Almost none of them take one.
I'm Carey Rouse, founder of Velo Escapes. I've led group rides in Texas for more than twenty years, and I've heard the same conversation at the coffee stop a hundred times. Somebody knows a road. Somebody's been to a place. Everybody wants to go. And then nobody has the forty hours it takes to make it real, so it stays a conversation.
That's the part I do. I build private cycling trips for entire clubs and groups, start to finish, and I'd like to build one for yours. This is for recreational clubs, the kind that ride together on the weekend, not race teams.

Why would I do that? Because club trips are a new service, and the first three are how it proves itself. I want them to be the best trips those clubs have ever taken, and I want you telling people about them. Three groups, and then the offer closes for good.
Your club decides. I do everything else.
- Step 1
You decide you want a trip.
Your club says yes to the idea and names a few places it's interested in riding. That's all I need to start.
- Step 2
I go look.
I investigate every place on your list: the roads, the climbs, the season, where a group can stay, what the riding is really like. I come back with real options, not brochures.
- Step 3
We pick the place and the dates together.
You know your club. I know what makes a trip work. We settle it in a conversation.
- Step 4
I handle all of it.
Routes, lodging, meals, support on the road, the vendors, and every piece of the logistics. It costs your club no time and no effort.
- Step 5
Your only job is filling the trip.
You bring your members. I'll give you everything you need to do that: the plan, the dates, the price, the page they sign up on.
- Step 6
We ride it.
Your club rides the way it always does. Someone from Velo Escapes rides with you, the support vehicle works the route all day, and I'm there the whole trip.
One thing to know up front. Groups run anywhere from about 10 to about 30 riders, around 20 on average, depending on what the place can hold. Every trip has a minimum number of riders to run, because of all the vendors involved, and it's typically about 75% of the size we plan the trip for.
If you're not sure your club can get there, let's talk anyway. I'd rather hear about it than have you rule yourselves out.
Supported, at your own pace.
Your club already rides together every weekend. You know your pace, and you know your riders don't all ride at one speed. So we don't lead your rides unless you ask us to.
Here's what we do. We scout every route and give every rider the routes to follow on their own bike computer or phone. A support vehicle works the route all day, moving between your fastest and slowest riders with water, food and spare parts, and room for a rider and a bike when someone's done for the day. Someone from Velo Escapes rides with you. Each ride has planned stops where everyone comes back together.
Want a ride leader for a day, or for the whole trip? We'll do that too.
Places I already run trips in. Or somewhere I don't, yet.
These are the escapes I've built and offer today. The routes and the lodging are already worked out, so a club trip there starts from a running start. But your club names the destination. If it's not on this list, I'll go look.
I build it myself, and I'm there for all of it.
I've led well over five hundred group rides in Texas, and I build every Velo Escapes trip myself. This isn't a company that hands your club to a stranger. It's me, on the trip with you from the first day to the last.
A club trip is the same thing at a bigger scale. I scout the roads, I book the lodging, I line up the meals and the support vehicle and the mechanic, and I'm there the whole way through.

Tell me about your club.
The name, roughly how many of you there are, and the places and dates you've been talking about. A guess is fine on all of it. This is the start of a conversation, not a commitment.
I read every one of these myself and I'll reply personally, usually within a day.
Rather talk it through? Call me at (512) 767-0630. If I don't pick up I'm on the bike, so leave a message and I'll call you back when I'm done riding.
