Find Your Ideal Ride.
Every rider is different, and so is every Velo Escape. We classify our escapes by Escape Focus, Terrain Type, Route Type, Distance, and Climbing so you know exactly what to expect from your journey.
Escape Focus
Epic is different for everybody — every escape names its own. These are the three flavors we build.
Classic
Epic by the ride itself. Challenging routes, real climbs, long days in the saddle — the escape is built around the riding, and the story you take home is the road. For cyclists who train and want a trip that respects it.
Dolce Vita
Epic by immersion. The riding carries you through the place — the vineyards, the tables, the people — and the place is the point. Ride as much or as little as you want; go home having lived somewhere, not just visited.
Lux
Epic, elevated. The same real riding with everything turned up — the finest stays, exceptional dining, white-glove care at every turn. The story is the same; the thread count isn't.
Terrain Type
The foundation of your journey. Choose the terrain you want beneath your tires.
Road
Focus on the tarmac. Smoother road surfaces where road bikes and slick tires are the preferred mechanism for sweeping descents and long, uninterrupted stretches.
Gravel
A true mixed-surface experience. You'll tackle a combination of different gravel types, some connecting road sections, and maybe even hard-pack dirt as we explore remote logging roads and unpaved paths.
E-Bikes are welcome on almost all of our trips! Talk with us to arrange one.
Route Type
How the trip is structured day-to-day.
